1 Introduction

Yuen Po Street Bird Garden, also known as the Mong Kok Bird Market (旺角雀仔街), is a Chinese-style market dedicated to the upkeeping as well as the sale of birds.

Yuen Po Street is located in Mong Kok, near other popular street markets such as the Mong Kok Flower Market, the Goldfish Market, and Sneaker Street. The market was originally located off Argyle Street but was later demolished and rebuilt at the current location so as not to occupy prime real estate.

If you’re planning a visit, expect to spend around 30 minutes to an hour to fully appreciate the vast variety of birds on display.
